Senior Vice President, Trust
David joined River City in August, 2009 as a financial consultant. Due to his tremendous experience in estate planning and investments management, River City is delighted to have David’s expertise as the Trust Department Manager.
David graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, and is a graduate of UGA’s law school. He practiced law for nine years, specializing in estate planning and business transactions before moving into the investment business in 1999. David specializes in multigenerational planning and uses his experience and expertise to benefit his clients. David builds strong relationships with his clients that make him a trusted and sought after advisor. He has been community-oriented through his years in Rome, serving as Seven Hills Rotary President, a member of the Board of Directors for the Davies Shelter, and a member of Young Life’s committee. He has also served as American Red Cross Board Chair and Capital Campaign manager, and Floyd Healthcare Foundation Chair of the Planned Giving committee. David has volunteered at Shorter College as a mentor, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and held numerous leadership roles with St. Mary’s Catholic Church & School. He and his wife, Julie, and their three daughters live in Rome.
Vice President, Trust
Rob Masters brings a wealth of knowledge to the River City Bank Trust Team. With over 25 years of experience, Rob helps people make smart financial decisions regarding their finances, both for now and for the future. He has served his clients as a client advisor. Mr. Masters graduated from Shorter College in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. He has also completed three year certification courses at the Southern Trust School in Birmingham, Alabama, and the Georgia Banking School in Athens, Georgia. In 2009, Mr. Masters received his Financial Planning Certification from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Masters has also contributed to several community organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club and the Local School Governance Team for Coosa High School. Mr. Masters has also served on the Board of Visitors for Shorter College, and is the secretary/treasurer for the Bettye A. Reed Scholarship Foundation. Mr. Masters lives in Rome with his wife and three children.
Nancy Taylor has extensive experience in trust operations and trust client service. She manages our trust operations at River City Bank and is very involved in client services.
Ms. Taylor graduated from Coosa Valley Technical College in 1981 with her Accounting Certificate, and completed the three year program at Southern Trust School in 1999. Ms. Taylor is well-versed in every aspect of banking, from credit card operations to private wealth management. She has over 30 years of experience in multiple areas of administration and account management, making her a perfect compliment to our River City Team.
Ms. Taylor lives in Armuchee, Georgia with her husband.
Lynn Terrell has been with River City Bank for 5 years, and brings with her more than 30 years of financing experience. In addition to Lynn’s financing background, she is passionate about exceeding her client’s expectations when it comes to service. Lynn knows that communication is the key to success.
Lynn serves on the Rome Board of Realtors, and is a member of Rome First United Methodist Church. She has two children that live out of town, and enjoys many outside activities, including kayaking and biking.
